Segment 2 with retired Microsoft early employee and executive project manager Scott Berkun on the Art of Project Management his new book published by O’Reilly talks with me about the Art of Project management for startups and growing companies.
Scott was one of the leaders of the famous Internet Explorer 3.0 team which was a
the historic team that took Microsoft from a super competitive company to a company that crushed it’s competition. This includes introducing new products and managing projects at a record pace which led to the utter distruction of Netscape in a matter of months. I met Scott when he was part of the Internet Explorer 3 team - he knows what he’s talking about. Every startup entrepreneur or executive of a growing company should buy this book. I’ll say it again …Jack Welch would have be proud of Scott.

Scott Berkun came across very well …
I would probably rate project management as one one of the most challenging roles within the team, so it’s good to hear his tips for success.
It sounds like he spent alot of time on the speakerphone.
