Amr Awadallah, Yahoo’s Sr Engineer and PhD Candidate at Stanford. Amr is an technical entrepreneur, gamer, product and software engineer, and all around smart guy.

Amr is doing some very cool and important work at Stanford. Amr is working with and under Mendel Rosenblaum the founder of VMWare on important virtualization concepts and technology.

In topic 1 and topic 2 Amr and I discuss his experience starting a company while getting his PhD at Stanford then selling the company less than a year to Yahoo, his role at Yahoo, his PhD focus and work, gaming technology, and finally the future of the Internet.
