Advertising Schmadvertising. Well, the Google-AOL agreement is about advertising, but the big prize might be on web-based TV. There’s some Google-bashing over the deal , but ruling the Internet in the future may entail having to rule television. Bet you won’t find a disagreement from Terry Semel. Anyway, Gartner analyst Allen Weiner looked upon the partnership as a long range thing and less about Google maintaining paid search listing revenue. Jason Lopez chatted with him and filed this story for PodTech News.
