From Impersonal Desktop to Personal Mobile Identity

The history of portable computing in ten minutes or less: that’s what we tried to do in our interview with David “Dadi” Perlmutter, Senior VP and General Manager of Intel’s Mobility Group. Dadi is responsible for design, development and marketing Intel’s mobile computing products, including the Centrino. PodTech’s Catherine Girardeau talked with him at the Intel Developer Forum in front of a display tracing the history of portable computers, from 1981 to the present.
