Shan Appajodu of RingCube Technologies talks about MojoPac - his company’s cool new technology that has been variously described as “a computer in your pocket” or “pour your PC into your pocket.”
Recently, MojoPac won the DemoGod award in San Diego, where they first unveiled their product.
Shan describes MojoPac as a “revolutionary operating system level virtualization technology.” By downloading MojoPac’s software into your USB stick or iPod, you can re-create your PC environment to work in any other host computer.
As Walter S. Mossberg of The Wall Street Journal described it, “You use the hardware, operating system and Internet connection of the host computer, but run everything else from your USB device.”
MojoPac’s target audiences are students, gamers and professionals. The company plans to enter emerging economy markets like India, China and Brazil.
MojoPac is a product created by RingCube that Shan co-founded in 2004 in Silicon Valley. The company received $4 million in funding from New Enterprise Associates, a Silicon Valley firm.

Very interesting. What comes to mind is taking my PIM application with me only so I do not have to open my laptop or Palm to find an address.
I can only think of a few other apps that I would need to transport I will buy this product after I read some user comments.
