Kevin Schofield is the guy responsible for moving technologies out of Microsoft Research (MSR) and into Microsoft’s product. We don’t talk much about that on this tour but because he knows everyone we get an in-depth look at three of the things MSR is working on. In the tour you’ll meet Eric Horvitz, Eric oversees the Adaptive Systems & Interaction area, ground zero for artificial intelligence research at MSR. Whatever you do, don’t miss the last demo, which starts about 36 minutes into the tour — you’ll meet Andy Wilson who is working with cameras to find a new way to control computers.
