Legendary designer Fabrizio Giugiaro unveiled his Giugiaro Mustang concept vehicle at the L.A. Auto Show. He spoke with PodTech’s Matt Kelly about the dramatic styling he incorporated in the car. One remarkable feature was the dramatic one-piece glass unit that incorporates the vehicle’s front window, panoramic roof and rear window all in one. Provided by Solutia, the panel contains a Saflex glass interlayer that has solar-absorbing properties, as described by the company’s Ana Wagner.

The Mustang lives on as a truely American icon and this Italian rendering does it proud. My uncle, Steven Sherer was on the original Mustang design team and I believe he would love to get this car in his driveway, great stuff.
