Solar Electrical Systems is providing ways of getting us off the power grid and helping us become energy independent through residential, municipal, agricultural and commercial solar power systems. While at the Alternative Car & Transportation Expo in Santa Monica, Calif., I spoke with Matt Ferrari about the company and the solar Prius they had on dislpay.

I live in Spain and so far I have seen only 2 of these Prius cars on the road. I would love to have one of them. I thought that the fuel consumption was not totally amazing in the blurb I have read and the car is a bit expensive so would take some time to pay for itself with the savings.
Would be a great car if you want to sneak up on people.
