Los Angeles-based Left Coast Conversions is the brainchild of Gadget, the company’s chief tech dude, who started the endeavor because of his passion for a cleaner, more self-reliant world. His company’s motto: “converting the world, one EV at a time.”
I caught up with him at the Alternative Car & Transportation Expo in Sant Monica, Calif., where he was conducting an on-site conversion, replacing the internal combustion engine of a ’70s era Triumph with batteries. The car will eventually be auctioned off on eBay.
