As one of the winners, Vegayan Systems will get an opportunity to pitch its plan to angel investors in India, and also spend time with Professor Phil Andersen at Singapore’s INSEAD campus. This is not the first time that Vegayan system has won such a competition. Earlier in 2006, Vegayan Systems received $75,000 in seed funding from DFJ Ventures from another competition.
Dr. Girish Saraph founded the company in 2005. In this interview he talks about his company, their product, and the business opportunities for networking products in India. Dr. Saraph expects to see a sharp increase in bandwidth consumption in India, and what that means is an increased demand for networking products.
