Yet another new product for General Motors’s Saturn brand. At the Chicago Auto Show, the world’s largest automaker lauched the Saturn Astra. A collaboration with GM’s Opel division, the new Astra will complete the re-launch of the brand that started 20 month’s ago. While no price tag has yet to be announced, rumour is the starting price will be about $16,000 when it goes on sale this fall.
Reporter’s Notes: My thanks to General Motors for inviting us to cover the Chicago Auto Show. They paid for our flight, meals and accomodations, plus provided access to high level spokespeople, engineers and designers for interviews, yet required no restrictions, review or edit control of our content prior to publishing.
