During the Chicago Auto Show, I spoke with Sage Marie, Honda’s manager of public relations, about the new Honda Accord coupe. A new look with new stylings and technologies, the vehicle incorporates Honda’s next-generation Variable Cylinder Management technology and features an i-VTEC V-6 engine, to provide higher fuel efficiency. It also features “Advanced Compatibility Engineering Body Structure,” to help absorb and disperse crash energy over a large area in case of a frontal impact. Not just a concept car, the Honda Accord is an actual production vehicle scheduled to be in your local showroom in early 2008.

The new styling, design and features like the Advanced Compatibility Engineering Body Structure of this Honda Accord Coupe is very impressive. It has similar body durability to GM bumpers. This will provide better resistance against strong impact.
