IDG Ventures India is a $150 million technology focussed fund that was established in September 2006. We talked to Sudhir Sethi, the founding vice chairman and managing director of IDG Ventures India.
The fund’s focus is early-stage investment in companies in the range of $500,000 to $5 million and they plan to work with other investors points out Sudhir. Some areas where IDG Ventures’ fund differs from other funds is their focus on design engineering, aeronautical and semiconductor industries.
Sudhir shares that IDG Ventures India, based in Bangalore, is in the process of signing term sheets with about four companies.
Sudhir has extensive hands-on experience working in the aeronautical outsourced industry.
