CSIA's 2007 Cyber Security Policy Agenda

As part of my continuing series, “If You Were Cyber Security Czar,” I caught up with Liz Gasster, the Acting Executive Director and Legal Counsel of the Cyber Security Industry Alliance. To answer the question, “what would you do if tomorrow you were named cyber security czar,” Gasster discussed the CSIA’s recently released 2007 public policy agenda. As it turns out, the CSIA, which represents some of the biggest IT security vendors in the country, has a lot to say about what the federal government, especially the Department of Homeland Security, should do to bolster the current state of cyber security.
