While at SXSW last week, we sat down with Jason Fields of Snap.com, an alternative search engine service. Snap.com, an Idealab company, combines a web site preview service with a search service that easily embeds in blogs. Jason explains the service and talks a bit about the controversy that occurred after Snap reached critical mass in the blogosphere, as well as what they’ve done to alleviate concerns. He shows us Snap in action and we take a tour of the Snap Preview Anywhere service on Thomas Hawk’s blog.
