Recently, the Copyright Royalty Board set new rates for the Internet radio industry. Internet radio will be required to pay 10 times the rates of the conventional broadcast radio business even though it generates less than 1 percent the revenue. Jon Potter, who is the executive director of the Digital Media Association, shares his analysis.
