Hundreds of technology and security companies gathered this week in Washington, D.C., for the 2007 Federal Office Systems Expo, or FOSE Convention. One company I caught up with, Eye Q Development Inc., showcased its credentialing technology, which uses RFID to help first responders and security officials pinpoint the location of individual identity credentials (and the individuals holding them) out of potentially tens of thousands of people who might be attending a large public event. Here, Cliff Krieg, CEO and founder of Eye Q Development, explains how his technology works, and the types of enterprises that could benefit from using it.
