Document Detective Uncovers Hidden Info

Ron Hackett, the Document Detective program manager for SRS Technologies, hinted recently that the Pentagon is very concerned about the leakage of sensitive and classified information. That’s why they’re scooping up every copy of the Document Detective software they can get their hands on, according to Hackett, who I interviewed this week at the 2007 FOSE show in Washington, D.C.

The software helps organizations santize and redact popular electronic document formats for data that is often hidden to the user but easily obtainable to those who come into posession of the documents.
