At SXSW I talk with Ryan Dawson and Doug Cook, who have created one of the first killer 3rd party desktop apps for Windows Vista. Their toolset bridges the gap between designers and developers.

As far as I can tell, thirteen23 is putting WPF into Vista. Their demos are head and shoulders above anything out of Microsoft, or any other design/marketing firm for that matter.
