National 911 Week Starts April 8

The Association of Public Safety Communications Officials (APCO) and the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) held a joint kick-off ceremony on April 5 to announce National Public Safety Telecommunications Week, which will take place from April 8 through April 14.

Dan Verton attended the ceremony and took part in a tour of the 911 communications center in Fairfax County, Va.
