If you can capture video displayed on your computer screen, you can use Camtasia Studio by TechSmith to create a file of the video that can be podcast. In point of fact, anything that you can capture on your computer screen can be podcast, as Troy Smith of Tech Smith demonstrates.

Phil,
I’ve been using Camtasia Studio for a while now to produce my video-tutorials over at www.SampsonVideos.com, and I am extremely pleased with the quality of their application.

Hi Phil,
I really enjoyed this presentation on Camtasia Studio and how well Troy explained podcasting to the uninitiated. I’d love to point out as well that there are a number of great podcast hosting companies. My own, http://podcastpeople.com allows for a idiot-proof way to host and share video and audio podcasts, that will work in multiple formats including Flash and the iPod.
Cheers,
