Bill Tai of Charles River Ventures on Kiteboarding

Bill Tai, general partner with Charles River Ventures, is an avid kiteboarder. He talks about the excitement and dangers of the sport and how the sport has evolved from windsurfing. He talks about leaping off the waves skimming across the water and the complete sense of freedom he feels when kiteboarding. He believes that kiteboarding is a great release from the stresses of being a venture capitalist and how the need for instantaneous reactions keeps his mind sharp and helps him in navigating the uncertain waters of the entrepreneurial space.
