It’s exciting to see young engineers excited about designing new green energy technologies. Meet one of them: Adam Kreek. Adam designed and built a (small scale!) biodiesel plant in the basement of my university building, which takes waste oils and fats from industry and households as stockfeed. Such systems can make a difference in local communities.

Very cool, I build biodiesel processors which turn waste vegetable oil into biodiesel. It is really amazing how simple the process is, as well as saving the customer $2-3 per gallon at the pumps. Algae biodiesel looks even more promising. As the other poster said, we just need to keep moving in the right direction. This is a neat story, hope I get can to his level someday.
