PodTech.net’s John Furrier had a chance to speak with Mike McDougall at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas — January 2006.
“Tell a story…don’t just tell a picture.” McDougall shows us Kodak’s innovative V570 the world’s first dual lense digital camera — with an ultra wide angle view and a zoom .. together at last. Further, he introduces us to the technology of taking and SHARING good pictures with the Easy Share C663 which uses Kodak’s perfect touch technology. This technology brightens a dark photo automatically. Now offered from Kodak, as well, is Voice over IP “photo voice” downloading from KodakGallery.com/photovoice for real time photo sharing with Skype. Mike talks about device convergence and the future of the photo community.

I just don’t understand how or why Kodak would release a digital camera with anything approaching a 8X or 10X zoom without image stabilization.
My only gripe about my old Kodak 290 was the zoom control - and to my dismay the same kludgy, impossible-to-precisely-control zoom control is carried over to your new cameras that I have looked at.
I want Kodak to survive, and genuinely feel that addressing these issues would help.

Jessie…
Most cameras provide multiple resolution settings. You can access the menu for selecting the resolution options through your LCD menu options panel…see my blog….

Thank you.
