Backcountry.com was acquired by Liberty Media Corp. The deal will be finalized this quarter. Backcountry.com will continue to expand and add 1250 employees this year. Utah gets $5 million from the WIRED program to train future workforce in biotech and information technology. And the winners were announced for the Utah Innovations Awards, including Altiris in the software category.
