This is Google with brains — Agent Logic, an Arlington, Va.-based company supported by the CIA’s venture capital firm, In-Q-Tel, was born from a very simple idea: can Web page update alerts be automated?
Well, of course they can. But Agent Logic took the concept to a new level, delivering alerts that contain the full range of situation awareness data that IT and homeland security professionals need to respond to incidents.
So while Google can help you find a Web page, Agent Logic can help you understand individual events and incidents in the broader security context in which they occur.

Great interview! Agent Logic is like Google alerts on steriods. I’d like to play around with this software but I have a feeling it is probably a zillion dollars. Anyways, looks like a great app for the security crowd.

Just the two cents of a satisfied Agent Logic user…. and nobody is paying me to write this!
I’ve been an Agent Logic customer for well over two years now. Their solutions coupled with their ability to deliver quality results have solidified their position in my book as a most reliable and capable software company. In no uncertain terms, Agent Logic’s event processing software directly enables not only Situational Awareness, but what I call Situational Superiority. That is to say, Agent Logic empowers us to with awareness of relevant events and “intelligent prompting” of appropriate actions to take in response to those events. If you are interested in users rapidly and effectively processing real world events in a way that enables achievement of organizational objectives (i.e. ACTION based on data), give them a call!
