Eric is really one of the founding visionaries in terms of web metrics but he said nothing new here if you’ve followed he’s views on web analytics…

I think people tend to underestimate the qualitative feedback on their website. It’s good to know what’s getting hits, and what’s not, but obsessiving over this quantative stuff can be taken too far… after a while, you start overlooking some of the more subtle things, like the tone of peoples comments, or people excitement when they talk about what your doing. just my 2 cents.
