Apple’s iPhone has created quite a bit of hype in India since Steve Jobs unveiled it in January of this year. (India’s mobile phone market is growing by a few million subscribers every month.) I caught up with two techies — Thiyagarajan (Rajan) and Rajiv, who have their fingers on the latest and greatest mobile technology in India — to find out what they thought of the iPhone and the impending June 29, 2007 launch date.
Rajiv and Thiyagarajan are both entrepreneurs in the mobile space and also started the Mobile Monday chapter in Bangalore. Rajiv’s start-up is called Sedna Wireless and Thiyagarajan’s is Motvik.
