A former high-tech genius, Shiloh Anderson struggles against his addiction to technology. In an effort to free himself, he abandons all forms of technology introduced after 1971, the year the first mass-produced answering machine was available to the public. Friends, family and other addicts offer many temptations which he resists with the help of a 12-step program and his sponsor. He transfers the energy behind his addiction into shaming and belittling everyone still plugged into the modern world. This gives him an excuse to keep up with the latest in technological advancements, and frequently causes him to relapse, going on technological binges.

Loved it. It is amazing how much technology we really embrace these days. Brings out my “inner geek”. Look forward to further installments.
