Gleamd is a brand new service, still in invite-only beta, that is geared towards tracking and ranking people. Users create bios of famous and not-so-famous people and then others can vote on them, much like digging works on Digg. Gleamd’s creator Matt McInerney was in town last week, so we sat down at the Hat Factory for a lunchtime chat and demo of his service. Matt gave me five beta invitations to give away to the first five LunchMeet viewers who leave a comment with their email addresses below.

Looks like a great service and would love an invite if you have one available. Congrats to Matt and good luck to you!

Amazed this hasn’t been created already.
He’s right - I’m sick of blogs too.
can’t wait to see it.

Haha. Your last name isn’t that tough. Try Chandranatha.
Congrats on the interview. I can see how you got the funding - you’re very articulate.

Great interview. I can’t wait for the additional features for Gleamd. This is a cool platform for those of us who are “growing” with blogs and are curious to dive into the minds behind the words.

Great interview. Been following Matt’s antics for awhile now and very interested to see how gleamd evolves. I don’t need an invite… already got one!

Kind of like a growing biographical database, with user community determining relative significance of a person listed. Interesting to see how broadly people vote or if they are focused on one or two people — may be a good feature to show how many names a Gleamd user has ranked.
Thanks for the interview. - T.

This looks to be a great use of the web. If there are any unused invites (I know only 5 where mentioned) I would like one!

Am late, but love the interview style.
Hung out with Tajee at BlogHer; owe you for that intro, and she’s great.
