Meet Y2E2, Stanford University’s new green Environment and Energy building, in the making. In this podcast we interview Jeffrey R Koseff, director of Woods Institute for the Environment. He tells us that Y2E2 aims at using 50 percent less energy and 90 percent less water, compared to an “ordinary” building of the same size. Y2E2 is also designed to be an airy, beautiful building with four lofty atriums where environmental researchers from all over the world can meet.
