Why confuse everyone by calling this motor scooter
a motorcycle?. It certainly does not look or ride like a
motorcycle, nor does it have an engine with cylinders. It has a very short range and can’t ride at freeway speeds or on a freeway for very long without a recharge.

Last year a number of questions were asked on the offical UK Vectrix web site forum about the battery and the claims of 10 years life and cost of replacement, the offical reply was to shutdowm the forum.
The replacement battery cost is approx ~1/3 the cost of the bike.
Given the range drops if you travel at the higher road normal speed most would have to recharge everyday, at these rates you would be very lucky if the battery lasted 4-5 years.
If you are very green and quite rich you might buy one, for most of us it would be far cheaper to by a 4 stroke scooter and keep it in fuel for 4 years than buy a vectrix.
