Drop Ship Product Sourcing with Doba

Doba offers a Web-based product sourcing platform connecting eCommerce retailers with wholesale suppliers who drop ship products. Retailers can see inventory and integrate a complete photo and product description database into their own web sites or even eBay.
Jeremy Hanks, cofounder and CEO of Doba, sits down with Brad Baldwin and introduces the Doba service. Hanks describes a subscription vs. margin percentage business model. Hanks is the co-author of eBay Inventory the Smart Way and Drop Shipping For Dummies. Doba was recognized with the AlwaysOn Top 100 Private Companies in the Enabler category.

I tried to the program to see if i could connect with some of the suppliers that our biz already uses and find some more….but….they dont really connect you to the suppliers…because you have no idea who the product source is. During the same time i tried shopster…but it was the same type of thing. I used Inventory Source ( http://inventorysource.com/ ) and THIS got me directly to the source. I was even able to negotiate lower prices based on my volume since i could talk to the supplier directly.

By “connect” you with suppliers Doba means they give you the ability to sell and order products from all of those supplier inventories from one consolidated place. One of the great benefits of using Doba is that you don’t have to create and maintain several relationships with multiple suppliers. And all Pro retailers working with Doba can see the actual suppliers that they are working with.
