K Vaitheeswaran is currently the chief operating officer of Indiaplaza, the world’s largest India-centric e-commerce company with operations in Bangalore, Chennai and Austin, Texas.
K Vaitheeswaran is a co-founder of www.fabmall.com, the company that pioneered the Indian E-commerce Industry. Since September 1999, he spent all his time and efforts in not only building Fabmall.com into a position of industry leadership but has also been engaged in evangelizing the cause of E-commerce in India.
In November 2006, The Pitch magazine listed him among the Top 20 people in the Indian Internet industry.
He also co-founded the Fabmall chain of grocery stores, which has become one of the leading brands in the Indian organized retail industry.

I thing the biggest challenge is the attitude of people at India plaza, specially with regards to customer support. It has been 17 days since I ordered for books that was promised to be delivered in 3 days. Despite many emails & phone calls to customer support has not been responsive enough to sort out the issue. It clearly shows that there are no processes in place and India plaze has a long way to go. I would not dare to buy any thing more here and would also not recommend it to any one.

I think that the problem with Indiaplaza is the that they trying to do many things at the same time. Their customer support is as bad as it can get. Its time India gets websites which are focused on specific areas of e-commerce and I think it has already started. See: http://www.flipkart.com/
