Professor Phil Taylor on BPO and ITES in India

ITES and BPO are two of the fastest-growing sectors in India. I rencently spoke with Prof. Phil Taylor of Strathcylde University, Glasgow, to find out about the BPO and ITES sector in India, misperceptions on outsourcing and the challenges for growth in this sector.

Phil was a speaker at a recent two-day event about the chaging BPO landscape in Bangalore.

Phil has researched extensively on call centers and offshoring and the economic impact of offshoring. The findings of this research have been presented to UK Parliament, the European Parliament, the EU Commission, the European HRM Network, Scottish Enterprise, Scottish Executive, and the Call Centre Association among others.
