AskLaila.com recently released the beta version of their local information service. In India, the local online search and information market is still an untapped area, and many companies and startups are racing to become a dominant player in this field.

For the moment, AskLaila.com is available only in Bangalore, and the company plans to roll out their services to other major cities in India.

The startup received an undisclosed amount of funding from Matrix Partners, and Rishi Navani of Matrix sits on their board.
