I recently met with Omer Shaikh, one of the co-founders of Friction.TV, a British company launching the U.S. Mr. Shaikh used to head Saatchi and Saatchi Interactive and he says he founded Friction.TV to encourage debate. The site has quickly established itself in the UK and now it wants to capitalise on 25 percent of its audience, which is in the U.S., with sales offices in New York and San Francisco to recruit partner sites.
