APIs and Feeds

Stowe Boyd moderated the API’s and Feeds discussion during the 2007 Office 2.0 Conference in San Francisco. Stowe provides an explanation of APIs as well as feeds and why they are important, among other things. His panel includes Dave McClure, Ben Metcalfe, Oren Michels, Greg Reinacker and Charlie Wood.

How different are APIs and Feeds from each other? With APIs and feeds becoming more successful on multiple levels regardless of company size, what does this mean for user, as well as developer? As these resources become more prominent, will the increased ease of information transfer compromise secure details?
