		<description>I built my vermicompost right after your first one. I am sorry you lost your worms.  I did have to make some adjustments too. Like adding alot more worms and putting a plastic bag over the top of the bin but under the lid to keep the bugs away. I also moved them outside during the summer. To maintain the moisture balance I keep a nice layer of shreded papers on top. I have only once since May went after some dirt for my potted plants. They did grow greatly afterwards. The worms do take their time in eating away. Since April they are only 3 inches off the bottom (their dirt area). So good luck :) with the new crew.</description>
