If you need to be transfered from one hospital to another, did you know that it could take hours or days that result in extra healthcare costs and lots of lost physician productivity? That’s why Darin Vercillo, a practicing physician himself, started Central Logic with a hospital administrator and technologist.
Central Logic has created a complete software solution that streamlines patient transfers between hospitals. The net result is improved efficiency for physicians, better care for patients, and a way for the hospital to make it capture more revenue because it’s easier to do business with them. With the Central Logic system, patient transfers take as little as 5 minutes, not hours or days.

I just want to know who works the software? What specific department in the hospital (aside from the patient transfer center) is responsible for the software usage? What department head is in charge of this?

Hospitals that have a transfer center will use this software for managing and arranging patient transfers. This group may be managed by the Emergency Department, Nursing, or the Physician Group. Transfer Centers are generally staffed by people with a clinical background. Visit www.centrallogic.com for more information or call 877.564.4870
