This IS the joke of the year?!
How many times will this car be used by only one person? Maybe this car is safe for the driver. But surely not for the one who can be hit by this monster. Please, start thinking. A car cannot be green. It’s logically impossible. You can save fuel. But not by driving such vehicles, but by driving smaller cars, using car sharing, using public transports, and so on. But maybe I’m just a stupid European that has no idea of the american spirit, the freedom of doing silly things. I better stop here. Maybe I’ m the only human being thinking like this.

Wow - Chevy has certainly pulled one off by perpetuating the legacy of a full-size SUV as a legitimate form of personal transportation. I can’t wait for the Hummer version because with aggressive use of this hybrid technology it might achieve 16 mpg (double its current fuel economy). I must rush to get a loan to enlarge my garage so I can keep two of these at home. I sure hope I get a big Federal energy rebate for buying one - after all, it is a green hybrid. p.s. When I was a child my school had a converted military vehicle that was smaller than this Tahoe and it carried about 10 of us around - so these giant SUVs either look like school buses or converted military vehicles to me.
