So, Google now is setting it’s sights on the gaming world. They aim to make a new Google gaming console. This could spark trouble with kickstarter funded Ouya, which runs off the android platform. The folks at Ouya might be licking their chops since Google is known for buying up start-ups to combine with their line up. But the bad part is… Ouya already runs on Google powered software and games so there is nothing really to buy! Will Ouya pull a PS4 and try to undercut google to get sales? or is this a(nother) kickstarter bust?
Google will join the ranks of other tech giants into a billion dollar industry that has been…well lackluster lately with sales down why would Google dive in? They plan to make wrist watches and so on to combine the gaming experience. So think about playing a game on your google console at home, then playing on your tablet and also popping in on your phone while kicking your feet up in your plush cubicle. This is googles dream, and those guys send balloons in the air with internet beams of waves and glory, so I think the gaming console and universal play just might happen. Sorry Ouya, we hardly knew ya.
