This is great new stuff from Suw! Suw and I talk about her recent research “Dark Blogs”. Actual research with customer use case data. The “Dark Blogs” – blogs that are behind the firewall or where users from the outside can’t see – also know as private blogs.

With Dark Blogs it’s not about popularity but about communicating information not about traffic. Core purpose of blogging allow people to communicate and converse around topics. Suw agrees with Mena from SixApart that in most cases small blogs are more important than big massive broadcast blogs.

Great discussion on why blogs are important for companies. Must listen for CIOs or IT managers looking at blogs for their enterprises.
