SAN FRANCISCO, May 26, 2006 (Podtech News) — Nike and Apple have teamed up to give other athletic shoe companies a tuneful run for their money. The companies earlier this week jointly announced the Nike+iPod Sport Kit, a running shoe with a sensor that transmits information to your iPod Nano as you work out. Podtech’s Catherine Girardeau got two perspectives on this new form of wearable technology, one from Nike’s Global Director of Digital Stefan Olander, and the other from Seattle-based technologist Paul Holman.
