TiECON East 2006: TCS CEO Sees Global Network of I.T. Services

S. Ramadorai says sustaining quality and employee competency is one of the big challenges in the industry, especially as the playing field evens out around the world. He is the CEO and Managing Director of the $2.25 billion software company Tata Consultancy Services Limited. “In terms of I.T. services and I.T. enabled services,” Ramadorai explained during his afternoon keynote, “I think the center of gravity–we all agree–has clearly shifted to India.” But he says the pattern shows a global network will emerge in the future.
