MENLO PARK, June 29, 2006 (PodTech News) — A ‘net neutrality’ amendment to a Telecom bill was rejected by the U.S. Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee late Wednesday in a tie vote. Both sides of the net neutrality debate claim the tie as a step closer to victory. PodTech News talked with communications industry analyst Maribel D. Lopez of Forrester Research about what this could mean for the Internet. Catherine Girardeau reports.
