And Robert Richer is probably not known — and for good reason — as the CIA’s former Associate Deputy Director of Operations (a role in which he helped manage the agency’s clandestine service).

Well, now the two men are teaming together, along with Matt Devost, of the Terrorist Research Center, on a private venture to help companies navigate the often murky waters of global business security.

Their new venture is called Total Intelligence Solutions and they operate a 24/7 Global Fusion Center in Arlington, Va. I got a chance to sit down with all three men in the company’s Fusion Center to talk about how private sector businesses can benefit from their services.
