As a power electronics engineer, Bohn is at the forefront of assessing advanced and hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) technologies for the FreedomCAR and Vehicle Technologies Program. I found myself mesmerized by him and his vast knowledge about hybrid and alternative fuel technologies.

According to Ed Wall, program manager for the FreedomCar and Vehicle Technologies Program, the long-term aim is to develop “leapfrog” technologies that will provide Americans with greater freedom of mobility and energy security, while lowering costs and reducing impacts on the environment. It’s great to see our tax dollars at work to achieve this aim, to learn about the program and meet the passionate government employees dedicated to its success.
