Rich media experience on mobile phones is the next new wave unfolding around the world. Users are increasingly using their mobile phones for audio and video content, and Vantrix may be a key player in this space. Vantrix enables rich media experience including live video and streaming on mobile phones.

Manish Jha CEO of Vantrix, spoke with me at his Tribeca office in lower Manhattan, about the rich media experience on mobile phones. What are the trends? What are some of the emerging markets?

Prior to joining Vantrix, Manish was with ESPN (where he was most recently a senior vice president and general manager ESPN mobile), including content licensing and Mobile ESPN, an MVNO targeted to sports fans.
