The final stretch for CES revealed bleary eyes from late night parties, cheers for Scoble as he appeared on CNBC, and a rocking good time at BlogHaus. In this installment we get to see rapping about memory chips, amazing flat panel TVs , new technologies for wireless home entertainment from Belkin, and the final results from Intel’s green screen booth. Thanks to all who participated and made it a success: Karl and Jimmy of the Bellagio bar staff, Maryam Scoble, Margie, and all the others who staffed the Bloghaus door, Valerie Cunningham of PodTech for being Valerie, San Key Sa for great camerawork, Mogulus for streaming, and special shout outs to John Aguilar of PodTech and Elizabeth Wallis for organizing the whole crazy ball of wax, Faisal Quadri, and Ken for the amazing bandwidth, Kevin Edwards and MK for keeping the content flowing, to John Furrier for creating the concept, and to Seagate for sponsorship. See you next year! Safe flights home to all.
Julio Vasconcellos, from The Experience Project caught up with Blogher co-founder Elisa Camahort on Day 1 of the 2007 Blogher Conference in Chicago. In this video, Elisa gives an overview of this year’s conference, and you’ll also see fellow co-founder Lisa Stone’s welcome remarks to attendees.

We met Samantha Murphy last year at the Podcast Hotel and she instantly gripped us with her singing. She dropped by the CES BlogHaus that Seagate sponsored earlier in the year and here’s our interview with her. Yeah, we’ll be doing the BlogHaus again next year at CES. I ...
BlogHer was one of our favorite conferences of 2006. Why? Beause it was different. You had mommy bloggers talking with tech bloggers and political bloggers. There’s a myth that there aren’t many bloggers who are women and BlogHer is going to explode that myth — last year, nearly 1,000 ...
When I visited Geneva, Switzerland to speak at the LIFT Conference, Laurent Haug, planner of the conference, invited Maryam and me on a tour of one of Switzerland’s most famous watch makers: Franck Muller. Here, you get a little taste of how these very expensive watches are made (cheapest ...
Matt Douglas, founder of MyPunchBowl.com, which is a great way to send out invites and help plan your next party or event, demonstrates what makes MyPunchBowl better than others. Maryam jumps in at the end to give her two cents (she liked it).
Maryam and I head to Freiburg, Germany. Not exactly a place you’d think you’d find geeks, or bloggers, but we did! In between beers (it’s Germany) we got some fun geeks and bloggers onto camera.
I invited four geeks, representing both sides of the OS aisle. First is Fred Davis, co-founder of Wired Magazine. Second is Harry McCracken, Editor in Chief of PC World. Third is Sam Levin, founder of Stanford Mac User Group, among other Mac things. Fourth is Jeremy Toeman who worked at ...

Mary Hodder grants us a demo of Dabble, which is an internet video search engine of sorts, yet something beyond the usual search engines. Dabble self-labels itself as a place to ‘describe, discover and organize’ video, wherever it’s found. Dabble is the ’swiss army knife’ of internet video.
Mary Hodder, CEO of Dabble.com, gives Maryam Scoble pointers on how to prepare for a meeting with VCs, and talks about the challenges of being a female CEO. Mary also tells us how best to search for videos online, and what she sees in store for Social Media. And ...

It isn’t surprising that Edwards would choose the city to kick things off for his presidential bid. His work as director ...
The Online Information conference is more than 30 years old. It is one of the top Library Science conferences in the world and we caught up with three speakers who are some serious Computer Science geeks. Dr. Hazel Hall, senior lecturer at Napier University in Edinburgh, Scotland, talks with ...
Maryam sits down with Sarah Blow. She’s a programmer with a phone company in London and hated that she didn’t see many girl geeks at parties. Worse, she was accused of being a marketer, which rubbed her the wrong way. Funny, when she said she wasn’t a marketer, Hugh ...
After the recent Blog Business Summit Maryam sat down with Liz Lawley, who teaches at the Rochester Institute of Technology (teaching really doesn’t define what she does — she’s also the director of RIT’s lab for Social Computing), and just completed a stint at Microsoft Research. She’s one ...
She’s Microsoft’s “BlogQueen” and used to run the site that holds most of Microsoft’s employee blogs, blogs.msdn.com, but now she’s working on Windows Live QnA site, which is a place where you can ask questions and get answers (or answer other people’s questions). She talks with Maryam ...
Maryam Scoble interviews Sue Polinsky, the “tech momma” of Greensboro, North Carolina. She helped plan the Converge South conference where Elizabeth Edwards spoke this year, but she’s had her hands in a ton of community projects, including helping set up free wifi in the downtown area — hear her ...
